Notice of Race
The Maple Bay Yacht Club is proud to host the 55th Annual Labour Day Regatta in Maple Bay.
Sailors of PHRF-NW rated boats, one design classes and dinghies are invited to participate. This year’s regatta is inclusive of the new “Ultra Class Division” started in 2009 competing for the Don Taylor Cup. For more information on this new Division for boats with PHRF ratings below 100 click here.
This exciting annual event will get underway Friday evening September 3rd with registration, a no host bar and complimentary soup and bun.
Wake early on Saturday for the Commodore’s pancake breakfast and complete your registration before heading out onto the race course in beautiful Maple Bay. After a day on the water, join our renowned margarita party, enjoy the smooth sounds of jazz on the lawn and the famous Steak and Salmon BBQ-on-the-grill. Finish off the night dancing to more live music in the Clubhouse.
In celebration of the 55th Annual Labour Day Regatta in Maple Bay, this year’s theme captures those earlier days of the event. So be sure to join in the fun with you and your crew dressed up in your favorite 1950’s regalia.
The regatta will conclude on Sunday with yet another Commodore’s breakfast, more racing around the buoys and awards ceremony.
